INTO THE ALPS

So much more than just a pretty view

We aren't big downhill skiers these days, so the start of the summer comes with quite a bit of excitement. As the winter's snow melts, we finally get access back into the Alps, our absolute favorite part of Switzerland.

The mountains are what drew us to live in the Berner Oberland and, more often than not, that's where you will find us during our free time so it seems only fitting, then that we dedicate a series solely to our adventures in the Swiss Alps.

In this, our newest series Into the Alps, you will find guides to some of our favorite walks, hikes, and paddles alongside excellent vistas and a few slices of physical and human geography. The mountains offer an entire hidden world if you just know where to look, so join us as we dig into the absolute best of Switzerland!
